What All Created Things Need Most

Love is what every existing thing in Heaven and Earth needs the most. It is true that the one love is most important in Heaven and True Love centering on men is most important in the human world.

In Christianity they talk about God’s love. They believe that Jesus is someone who showed God’s love to human beings. We know very well that if there is any love worth longing for in the human world, it is the love of Jesus. If there is some love worth longing for in Heaven, it is God’s love. Likewise, our hope is to connect with God’s and Jesus’ love. The problem is, what is that love like? The original purpose of creation was for the first human ancestors to live centered on God and to live by God’s eternal love. However, we learned through the Principle that due to the Fall, they could not build a relationship of love with God. Instead they built a relationship of love with the enemy Satan.

If we recognize that the center of life, ideals and value for all created things is the love of God, people who cannot experience the love, ideals and life of God do not have any relationship with Heaven. This is true even if they talk about love, life and ideals. Why is humanity living in such a miserable state? It is because they lost the life, love and ideals of God. We have to experience this deep in our minds.

If someone longs for God’s life, love and ideals, no matter how sorrowful he is, he has the hope of revival. Given that God works to save people who are disconnected to His love, life and ideals, what providence would He conduct? We have to understand that in His work God moves the heart which longs for the true life, the heart which is thirsty for love, and the heart which is deprived of ideals.

How much have you longed for the love, the life and the ideals of God in your mind? If you do not have such a heart, there is no way to find God’s love. If such a shock does not explode from your mind, you cannot connect to the life, love and ideals of God, no matter how abundant they are.

The Last Days are nearing. People say universally that the end of the world is coming. There is no one in this world you can cling to and say that he or she can satisfy the hunger of your mind and give you life. There is no one who can be the only one you longed for in your heart, the only one who can fill you. The same thing holds true even in the sphere of ideals. We have to build a relationship with God’s life, love and ideals. Otherwise, we can only conclude that in the Last Days of history we cannot become a person of true love, life and ideals.

The Sorrow of God Right after the Human Fall

However, there has not been even one person who loved his or her sons and daughters with the same heart of love that God had toward Adam and Eve. There has never been a couple who came together with such heart and love.

Sinning daily and making a lot of noise is love below the level of the angels, love which is a product of the Fall. People are distant from the love of God who exists as the center of ideals and as the ideals themselves.

You have probably not given much thought to the fact that Adam and Eve fell. You are unclear about the significance of what you have vaguely heard. There is no deep response of the heart in you. That should not be so. The moment Adam and Eve fell, God’s heart was torn so painfully He almost went insane. You should never forget about the Father who was shaken so thoroughly as to almost forget Himself. Have you ever thought about that?

Even when fallen people on the earth watch their children die, they feel their bone marrow melt. They want to save their children even at the cost of their own lives. How must the heart of God have been as He watched Adam and Eve walking the path toward the Fall and crossing the line of death? Unless you understand that heart, there is no way for you to become God’s sons and daughters.

If someone has experienced the sorrow of God as he watched the Fall of Adam and Eve, nothing of this human world will pose any problem for him. Even the greatest love in the human world cannot comfort the sorrowful heart of God. We understand the history of restoration through indemnity. To return to the original world, we have to go through God’s heart and build a relationship of love with Him. Only after that can we become God’s sons and daughters. Have you ever felt the heart of God who mourned while watching the Fall of Adam and Eve? For six thousand years, God has been ceaselessly struggling to liberate the grieving heart of the Fall. God sent many prophets to liberate it. He sent His beloved son. God sent His beloved son to execution to liberate the grieving heart of the Fall. It is to liberate this that countless people are in pain.

Everything Would Have Been Realized on Earth

Had the three disciples been willing to die with Jesus, he would not have had to die. Everything would have been realized on the Earth. Since the Holy Spirit came and there were spiritual sons and daughters, the father and mother spirit could build a foundation on the earth, at least spiritually, and fulfill the will. Some people may say that we cannot find these words in the Bible.

Why did Jesus who came to save the earth ascend to Heaven, and why did the Holy Spirit, the mother spirit, come down to the earth on his behalf? The Earth is the symbol for the mother. Since the Fall took place because of Eve, who was the mother, it is the mother who must cleanse the fallen world of sin. The Holy Spirit and believers were to join together to cross the line of death and rise to the position to serve Jesus in the spirit world.

Although God sent Jesus on the basis of the four-thousand-year history, He could not embrace him and love him fully. Although human beings received the beloved Jesus, they could not embrace him and love him. When Mary Magdalene tried to hold Jesus right after the resurrection, Jesus told her not to touch him. Why did he block her? This is sorrowful. When God was sad, Jesus was sad. Because the situations of Heaven and Earth are tied to this, you cannot move forward without unraveling this. How distressed must Heaven have been since He had to resolve the situation?

God is looking for those who can substitute for the lost Adam and Eve. It is said in I Corinthians that Jesus was the last Adam. It is said that Adam is the Tree of Life. Jesus was the one who came in place of the lost Tree of Life. Did God ever elevate beloved Jesus on the earth and praise him before the believers? Did He ever boast about him before the family which is looking for the one person God loves? Although two thousand years have passed since then, God could not boast before any people or the world.

You have to understand that God was indignant when He had to witness the death of Jesus whom He had sent and would have to send again. He was more indignant than when He had to chase Adam and Eve out of the Garden of Eden. Although he was sent with the mission of a son, Jesus could not complete the mission. Because in Jesus’ time there was not a moment when God and his son were happy together, there had to be a Second Advent. The day will come when God can rejoice with Jesus. This will be the moment He can reveal the grieving heart of the six thousand years and connect the sons and daughters with God and the Lord who is to come.

The Task of Believers

What is the consequence of the fall today? The eternal Creator is the Father, yet our not being able to call him “Father” is the consequence and source of bitterness of the fall. Because Jesus understood this well, he appeared to humankind personally and tried to guide them with loving hands, but they did not fathom his heart. Although he spoke words of love, they ignored him. Although he shed tears of grief, they did not understand his situation.

You who are living on earth today must demonstrate filial piety to your parents and be loyal to the nation. In other words, you must walk the path of human ethics. Jesus came with the mission to join the heavenly principles with human ethics. Who comprehended this heart of Jesus? Today there are many people who betray Jesus and forget his heart, but people 2,000 years ago did not understand Jesus any better. You have to reflect whether you are true Christians.

What is that which you must achieve and restore now? It is understanding the heart of Jesus and comforting the heart of God, Who has been grieving for 6,000 years. You should repent from the position of the people of 2,000 years ago, who caused God deeply penetrating grief because they failed to attend Jesus. You must also repent that you are ignorant of the practical reality.

Who followed Jesus to the end without forsaking him? The twelve apostles of Jesus? No, the three disciples among the twelve apostles also could not believe in and follow Jesus to the end.

Although Jesus tried to introduce the love of God to humankind and tried to put that love into practice, he passed away without building a substantial relationship of love with humankind. You have to understand that although Jesus conveyed the words of love and had a heart that burned with love, he passed away without having found one person whom he could hold tight and interact with as, My son, My father, and share the love that runs between parent and child.

You have to understand the heart and situation of Jesus, who cried in anguish through the sleepless night in the Garden of Gethsemane, even as the disciples were dozing off. There were many people who liked Jesus’ words of love, but 2,000 years ago, Jesus did not have any place to give his love.

Without connecting to this heart of Jesus, you cannot forge a parent-child relationship with him. Moreover, you cannot make the bond of husband and wife through Jesus, and you cannot stand in the position of loyal subjects and women of fidelity.

We are to comfort and liberate his heart, which is immersed in the historical sorrow of the 6,000 years when he called God “Father” and clung to Him. When we cling to the distressed heart of the Father and call Him, with just that one word, Heaven and earth that have been divided will be joined again. If you cannot set this standard again, then the sorrow of God will never leave you. You will not be able to escape from the condition of judgment by God.

What then must you do to accomplish this task? What must you do to understand the will of Jesus? You have to become a person who knows how to live according to your original mind and according to how you are taught, and walk the same way Jesus walked.

The Standard of Distinction Between the True and the False

As you can see, we are living in the era of confusion. On our own, we cannot distinguish from all the things that we see, hear and come across which are true and which are false. Then, on what standard, can we distinguish the true from the false? That standard is neither knowledge nor learning. It is each person’s original mind. In this moment when the Last Days are near, we cannot know when and who will invade us and trample upon our life and eternal hope. The invasion might come through our knowledge and some worldly conditions. Therefore, we must not put too much emphasis on the knowledge that we have or in the worldly conditions.

All these things cannot be the highest standard for distinction between good and evil, and they cannot determine the ultimate goodness. If they can determine the ultimate goodness, then they would have already granted us the grace to hear the voice of God and go forward toward the new hope. Moreover, they would have become manifested as the stimulating things that we can feel anew and experience substantially. However, these things have not been able to introduce us to the eternal ideals of God until now. When we look at this, we can understand that knowledge or learning is not some ideal thing that can determine goodness.

Today, then, when we have come to the doorsteps of the Last Days, what must we seek to wake up completely? We must seek our original mind and seek the new truth that can uniformly explain the world of original substance and the phenomenon world through that mind.

Our countless ancestors, the central figures of the dispensation, have been exerting themselves until today while passing through the long course of history to seek this mind and truth; until now, they have failed to find the true truth of the mind that can represent Heaven. Not only that, they could not establish reciprocally the standard that can relate to the mind, is in harmony with it, and produce joy as the eternal ideal element. So, on earth, the walls of darkness are blocking the way until now. You must understand this.

Therefore, by finding all these things and establishing the unchanging center of the heart, you must penetrate through all the barriers of darkness that block the way. You have to understand this.

Nonetheless, in the present religious life, the most serious problem is conceptual speculation and faith. For example, people normally try to pray based on the stimulation that they feel as they imagine the pain and misery that Jesus felt when he was dying on the cross for our sake. Yet, you should not do this. You should pray, but, first, you must call upon your original mind and develop the appropriate attitude of the heart to pray. When this is done, the Holy Father, the Holy Son and the Holy Spirit can connect to us through that foundation of heart. If this kind of relationship is forged with us, then our bodies will naturally and gracefully respond to this.

Then, if we are the ones who woke up from sleep first today, then what must we do for the world that is fast asleep in the darkness? We must first awaken and raise the heart of the people who are asleep.

In your life course, is there a great teacher? Even if there is some teacher whom you think is great, although that person might serve as temporary teacher, but he cannot serve as the teacher who can stand before the eternal heavenly principles on behalf of your eternal life and introduce the divine nature of God to you. Furthermore, though he might be a good teacher in a certain moment of an individual’s course, he cannot be the leader of eternal life who can guide you to possess true life through the character and heavenly nature within.

Similarly, you must realize the fact that the standard of the teacher that you are relating to at the present cannot connect you eternally to God. Therefore, you have to find your original heart and through the ears of your mind you must hear the calling of Heaven. Through the eyes of your mind, you must see the divine nature; through the senses of the mind, you must feel the heart of Heaven. Otherwise, you have no choice but to simply repeat the 6,000-year course of history that has passed behind us.

Until now we thought that Heaven was the only truly precious thing, but now we realize that our minds are also just as precious. By realizing this, you must set the high standard of value to which God can relate, and find the nucleus of the mind. Otherwise, you cannot stand before the heavenly principles. You who have gathered here claim that you have led diligent life of faith until now in your own way, but if someone were to ask you, “What indeed do you have of which you can be proud?” not many of you could answer, “I have something of which I can be proud.” Even if someone among you does have something of which you can be proud before Heaven, God wishes that you brag about it through your original mind. Similarly, if you represent the heavenly principles and lead your life while carrying out your thoughts with the mind of compassion that can testify to the eternal ideal, then you will never deviate.

The Perfection of the Ideology of the Kingdom of Heaven and Jesus Christ

The Kingdom of Heaven we sincerely wish for today is not only the hope of human beings but also the hope of God. Consequently, the ideology that can build this Kingdom of Heaven must pass through the individual level and possess world quality and universal quality to agree with the heavenly principles. Therefore, unless we construct this Kingdom of Heaven on earth, God’s dispensation of salvation cannot be completed, and the goal of our faith cannot be completed.

Accordingly, God, who has the mission as the Creator who created human beings, must take responsibility and attain this Kingdom of Heaven, and the fallen men also must take responsibility and fulfill it even at the cost of sacrificing everything. When we think about this, although through the long course of history God has been longing for the appearance of one person who can bring to pass this idea of the Kingdom of Heaven and take pride in it on behalf of humanity, but until now, that one person has not emerged on this earth.

Consequently, since the creation of the world until today, the idea of heaven that God is seeking to find through human beings is not to be concluded as one individual ideology. While it is an individual ideology, at the same time, it is a world and universal ideology and the eternal ideology that the all created things are pursuing. You must again take to heart the fact that longing for the time that this ideology can be established, God has been walking the road of patience, toil and suffering for 6,000 years.

Then, how can God and human beings create relations? The relations can be created centering on the ideology of the Kingdom of Heaven. At the level where the Kingdom of Heaven can be constructed, the ideology of human beings and God’s ideology of creation are achieved.

Therefore, God who has passed through the long 4,000-year history since Adam hoped to establish people at one point and connect them with the whole internal heart and the external ideology of God. Jesus Christ was the person who was established as that central figure. Thus, before sending Jesus Christ to this earth, through John the Baptist He has chosen and raised, God predicted, “Repent! The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand!” However, the kingdom can be realized not through John the Baptist but through Jesus Christ.

Hence, on John the Baptist rested the responsibility to unite the whole Israelite people and guide them toward Jesus. However, because John the Baptist did not fulfill that responsibility, the idea of the Kingdom of Heaven that he was crying out did not have anything to do with Jesus. So, the cry of John the Baptist, “Repent, the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand!” did not consummate as the idea of the Kingdom of Heaven that only corresponds to that time, but left behind as the idea of the Kingdom of Heaven prophesied through all the people who have the mission of John the Baptist after him no matter which era of history, and as a result, the laborious hands of God continued to be at work.

You also must never forget that during the 2,000 years after Jesus, many prophets have labored hard to introduce God. Although John the Baptist shouted, “Repent, the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand,” Jesus Christ who came to actually introduce and manifest that Kingdom of Heaven had to die on the cross. So, after that until today, the ideology of the Kingdom of Heaven which is the center of God and man’s eternal hope, could not be realized through man on earth and in heaven.

You should understand that the Israelite people losing Jesus Christ ultimately brought the result of losing the idea of the Kingdom of Heaven that John the Baptist predicted. At the same time, they even lost the master of the Kingdom of Heaven who could help the Israelite people overcome the hardships that they encountered horizontally. Therefore, we must claim back the ideology of the Kingdom of Heaven that Jesus lost when he came, and bring it to perfection.

The Debt of Eternal Life, the Debt of Life, the Debt of Love, and the Debt of Karma

Since the time of our birth, we should have possessed eternal love centering on God. When we were born through our parents, we should have already represented the love of God. Moreover, centering on us as a couple, we should have represented the love of parents. We should have also built a relationship of love with all things.

Because we could not become such people, men owe a debt of eternal life to God, and we owe the debt of life to our parents. We owe the debt of love to couples, and we owe the debt of karma to the creation.

After God created the universe and all things, the reason He elevated Adam and Eve to be the center of all things was to give eternal responsibility to men. Consequently, we bear the responsibility to give eternal love. In other words, because Adam and Eve did not follow the will of God and were dragged into the bosom of Satan, the debt for the life centering on the eternal love of God remains unpaid in each of us today.

Moreover, after we have been born through our parents, we owe a debt to them because they have loved and taken care of us in their lives. We also owe a debt for the love of God, which must be paid back by living the life of a couple. To all things, we owe a debt for the love that nature has given to us. When you reflect on this, you must understand that we today owe a debt to God for eternal love, to our parents for life, to our couples for the love centering on life, and to all things we owe the debt of the relationship of love which we have incurred in our daily life.

As the center of the creation, you must be able to display dignity. You must realize that men owe eternal debt to God, the debt of their lives to their parents, the debt of love to couples, and the debt of life to the creation. The creation demands that men pay back all of this debt.

Noah Traveled the Path of Adventure

Let us now reflect back on our ancestors of the past. When we look at the life of Noah first, we will find that it was not a smooth and even life. How do you think Noah must have felt when he received the commandment, “I will judge the world with water 120 years from now, so build an ark on the top of Mount Ararat”? It was not a feat that took twelve days, nor twelve years. It took 120 years. The commandment to build an ark on top of Mount Ararat was completely out of step with the reality of that time.

When you look at the actual situation of Noah, who carried out that kind of commandment, he might be considered a truly insane person, one who was fully out of touch with his time. Noah, who received such enormous directives from God, made a firm determination within himself. He persevered not for one day, but for a period of 120 years, wishing for that one day to come. You must understand that Noah was truly the adventurous champion, unprecedented in the 1,600 years of prior history. He was raised before Heaven representing that history.

Noah, who maintained absolute faith in the commandment as the will of the covenant, did not pay much attention to all those conditions. Once he decided, he did not care whether God intervened or whether the people of the world cursed at him. Since he had already embarked on the path for the sake of the will, putting his life on the line and having forsaken it, none of these matters posed any problem. Thus, he silently traveled through the course of ordeals that continued for such a long period of 120 years.

Noah must have faced criticisms in his family. Society must have greatly reproached him. Yet nobody could stop the footsteps of Noah, who began his journey to single-mindedly pioneer the heavenly path that humankind does not understand and has not traveled before, the path that no one in the course of sixteen hundred years had walked before. You must keep in mind that Noah was an adventurous person who could cast aside all opposition, even if the environment of society of that time obstructed him and all the people of the world pushed him back.

Noah made headway with dogged determination, regardless of what kinds of tests and tribulations he faced. After 120 years passed, he could erect the one restored family that Adam’s family had lost. You must understand such a historical background.
