Live the Moment

Sometimes we are overwhelmed by our daily life, that it is hard to recognize, we tend to live in the past or the future not in the present.

Right here, right now only we are who can give happiness, who can change the world with good deeds and care, love.

Live the moment fully, and this way you will have roots in the past and hope in the future, nurturing your everday life!

What is Religion?

Religion is a training center and educational institute to repair dysfunctional man and return him to his original state…The mission of religion is to cultivate our character through a life of faith that embraces enlightenment and personal growth, so that we can attend God in our everyday lives…all faiths should attach greater importance to educating and training individuals to perfect their character, thus raising them to become people of faith, than they do to merely bringing people to a path of faith through witnessing and sermons”‘. – Reverend Sun Myung Moon

There is Only a Path of Prayer

Suppose your personal power is limited to 100, how can you gain greater power than 100? Only a path of prayer will provide the power.

You may plan this way this year, and you will do that way in the next year. Of course, no one should do less than the previous year. Doing less than the previous year means you are going backward! With a new program that propels you to advance and move forward this year compared with the last year, you should determine firmly in your mind internally.

Your ability is to a certain degree determined. Therefore, in order to progress and achieve greater goals next year, you must find where you can gain greater than 100% of the power that you have. Since you are physically limited to the 100% power you have, the only way to gain greater power is through the path of prayer. The greater the plans you make, the deeper and more serious heart you must have, so that your capacity will expand accordingly. Remember that God is always with you. Should you have such an attitude internally, you can inspire your mind constantly. You must do it. If you do not, someone else must do it. So, it is of great importance in your life, how you can pioneer a way of inspiring and stimulating your mind in such a way, daily.

Sometimes, you will experience spiritually a dry time. Even though you try to pray, sometimes in your life, you cannot pray no matter how hard you try. You may try as hard as you can for a week. Maybe, such time can last for a month or even more than a half a year. In your life of faith, you must go through a time of deep struggle within yourself for a long time. But such a time is not bad. The longer you struggle to overcome such a time, the greater the amount of God’s grace that will eventually be visited upon you. Everything is relative like above-below and left-right, so God’s grace and blessings will definitely reach you.

He also told a parable to them, ‘Can one blind man guide another? Surely both will fall into a pit? The disciple is not superior to his teacher; the fully trained disciple will always be like his teacher. Why do you observe the splinter in your borther’s eye and never notice the plank in your own? How can you say to your brother, “Brother, let me take out the splinter that is in your eye”, when you cannot see the plank in your own? Hypocrite! Take the plank out of your own eye first, and then you will see clearly enough to take out the splinter that is in your brother’s eye.

There is no sound tree that produces rotten fruit, nor again a rottern tree that produces sound fruit. For every tree can be told by its own fruit: people do not pick figs from thorns, nor gather grapes from brambles. A good man draws what is good from the store of goodness in his heart; a bad man draws what is bad from the store of badness. For a man’s words flow out of what fills his heart.

Luke 6:39-45

You must know God

You must know God. The fundamental energy of the universe, or the universal prime energy means God. In relation to God, we human beings are a half. For mind and body, husband and wife, and parents and children, and among children, in the family, and in the tribe and nation, things are all the same. Without a serving heart, they cannot be one. If you eat some food and it tastes good, why does it taste good? When our body just has the plus and run out of the minus, an influx of a minus element produces a good taste. If a plus element comes in, it will be repelled and this will produce a bad taste. Good taste means that the oneness of a complete plus and complete minus stimulates and expands the cells.

Welcome To Wherever You Are

Maybe we’re different, but we’re still the same
We all got the blood of Eden, running through our veins
I know sometimes it’s hard for you to see
You come between just who you are and who you wanna be

If you feel alone, and lost and need a friend
Remember every new beginning, is some beginning’s end

Welcome to wherever you are
This is your life, you made it this far
Welcome, you gotta believe
That right here right now, you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be
Welcome, to wherever you are

When everybody’s in, and you’re left out
And you feel your drowning, in a shadow of a doubt
Everyones a miracle in their own way
Just listen to yourself, not what other people say

When it seems you’re lost, alone and feeling down
Remember everybody’s different
Just take a look around

Welcome to wherever you are
This is your life, you made it this far
Welcome, you gotta believe
That right here right now, you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be
Welcome, to wherever you are

Be who you want to, be who you are
Everyones a hero, everyone’s a star

When you wanna give up, and your hearts about to break
Remember that you’re perfect, God makes no mistakes

Welcome to wherever you are
This is your life, you made it this far
Welcome, you gotta believe
That right here right now, you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be
Welcome, to wherever you are

Someone was happy to find you just the way you are

Conception begins with two cells that keep dividing and by the time a person is an adult the number of his cells is truly an astronomical figure. We can imagine that the distance from the tip of our foot to the top of our head is comparable to the distance from one end of the solar system to the other. A baby in its mother’s womb is already a big universe.

The cells don’t know how the whole being is going to be shaped. Imagine that the eyes didn’t find their right place and ended up at the navel instead. Perhaps one palm might be turned outward while the other faced the normal way. The nose could have been made crooked by one simple misalignment of cells, or the teeth could have grown from the fingertips. Imagine how easily the parts of your body could have been misplaced. But they were not. Instead, everything took its proper position. Even if you don’t feel handsome you can feel relieved and happy that you were born normal.

Do any of you women feel that you were very unfortunate to be born as a woman? Considering all the complicated processes of your body you have every reason to be grateful to be born as you were. Many mothers confess that when they are in labor it is so painful that they wish the baby were very small like a fist so that birth would hurt less. But then once the baby is delivered, the mother’s concern turns instantly to her child and she checks everything to see that all is normal. She examines the eyes, ears, nose, hands and feet and opens the mouth to make sure the baby has a tongue. It is a great relief when the baby has its first bowel movement and the urine flows out right. This might sound funny, but the mother is quite serious about making sure the baby is functioning normally. Can you feel that or do you think the mother is worrying too much? The mother has great anxiety until the baby takes its first milk; then for the first time she knows that she has a perfectly normal baby and she is relieved.

You should know that someone was happy to find your eyes the way they are and every part of your body the way it is. Your own mother was the first one who really rejoiced at the way you function. What about your father? Your mother was so happy after making sure that everything was in the proper order that to see her relief your father was also happy.

When nursing her baby, does any mother think that it would be better if part of her baby’s face were different? Even though the baby may be clearly out of proportion, she never thinks that way because she is happy that her baby is healthy. Does the father feel happy too? Does any father bring his child up thinking that she will have to have plastic surgery when she grows up because she is not very pretty? On the contrary, even though the father does not think she is beautiful he still believes that as she grows up everything will come into proportion. Don’t you think the father and mother will feel like that?

Have you heard the saying that when a baby is very pretty at first she generally grows up not being so attractive, and when a baby is rather ugly when she is born that she grows up to be more beautiful? This seems to hold true generally. A girl who looks very pretty when she is 20 or 21 years old seems to become less beautiful as she ages. If she looks a little plump at 21 or 22 years of age then she will look good the rest of her life and not be ugly when she gets old. No matter how beautiful a girl is, it seems to be difficult to retain that beauty after she has given birth to three children.

Your parents were the first to be concerned about how you looked, and once your mother was satisfied that everything was all right she prayed and hoped and did everything for you. Now that you are fully grown what right do you have to complain about the way you look? It is unjust to complain about the way you look. If you keep your mind beautiful as you grow older, then always the appearance of your face and body will improve, becoming more and more beautiful.

Music and Art: Bridges for Life

Music and Art are expressions of heart and soul and also the key to reach out humanity, resonate together with people around.

Certainly, everything needs to be in accordance with a certain standard.

But does that mean, we need to dance ballet and sing hymns, ode to joy only?

In our characteristics we find a variety, as we are from Heavenly Parent.

In the ideal world -what we can not even really imagine in the lack of knowledge and heart-, we will laugh, we will joy and we will have fun and will have silence in our heart, too.

However, in the era of transformation we still have other feelings, we do not know we will have in Heaven, but all in all, we are like this now.

Can a song be sarcastic, ironic, political, radical, dealing with social issues, harsh and demanding righteousness? Can we laugh on our own circumstances, can we give a hand to others stating we are not from a different planet? Can we lead them through unorthodox way, with less “religious” way?

What is religion? There are many explanations, and many understandings. However, religion aims to guide people back to Heaven, where we all should have been born and where we will be reborn.

And for this, we need to speak the language of the people. We need to know their customs, not to condemn them, but to love them with showing another way.

A newborn baby cannot digest hamburger, spaghetti, pizza, stew or a thanksgiving-turkey.

I am not saying, showing nudity, swearing or cursing is the way. But we need to be honest, we should not stand in a piedestal looking down or something. Our art, our music should reflect our desires, heart, love and care and it must connect to the heart and mind of the people.

Our artistic skills are like teaching, but we are not as much different, and we should not be -in a way-, at all. We are Blessed to know the Truth, we are Blessed to be called by Heaven but we cannot be haughty. We can not deny our ancestors.

We can make a difference, like bridges.

With our skills, talent, endurance this is what we need to do, linking a world we are building and a world we are leaving reachable for everyone. No man leave behind.

We are children of God. We are one family. We are responsible for each other.

We can show our care, love, attitude and perseverance throughout our daily life and with our talent, art, music.

With letting our ownselves enjoying it, accepting our heritage and our new and true life, we can help people to relate to something what they might not even know they are looking for.

Something, we call eternity. Something, we call Heaven.

Enjoy your life in Heavenly Parent!

When are you continually content?

Let’s ask ourselves when we are going to feel content or satisfied. Imagine that the Kingdom of God is established on earth and you don’t have to work as hard anymore. You can do pretty much what you want to do, eat all you want and think about yourself. Would you finally be able to feel really content and satisfied? We all like steak, but if someone brought you steak every hour and you had to eat it, would you be annoyed or elated? Now you feel like getting a little more sleep, don’t you? If you say no, you are not being honest with yourself. I would like very much to sleep a few more hours. I slept only two hours last night, and I feel that way all the time. Imagine you had all kinds of time to sleep, and even though you could get up to go to the bathroom or to eat, you had to go right back to sleep again. You might go to meet a friend, but upon returning you had to go right back to sleep. Imagine that your purpose in life was to sleep. Then would you be contented and satisfied?

Now we can think about contentment and about happiness. Most people in the world have a concept of me as being a very rich man. Generally speaking they would assume that since I have so much money I must feel satisfied and have no desire for anything else. What they don’t know is that I’m always in need of more money, no matter how much there is. It all depends on how one would define what I need. I wonder how much money I should have in order to say I am content and would not like to have any more. Do YOU think there is a limit?

It is not an exaggeration to say that you are happier when you are in need of money. You cannot really imagine how that could be true, can you? I can explain with another example. When your stomach is so full that you can’t eat any more, you feel awfully uncomfortable. At one time or another you have had the experience of wanting to eat something and then stuffing yourself to the point that you have difficulty moving around.

Which of these two situations do you think is happier for you? Do you feel better when you have eaten to your fullest and feel uncomfortable, or when you have a fervent wish to eat? Maybe it depends upon what situation you are in. A very poor man who always lacks food, who had eaten only half a meal a day for three or four years, would want to fill himself up completely. But I am talking about the average situation, not the extreme.

We have brought up the fact that everyone is pursuing contentment, but what is contentment? We often say something is good or nice, but does that really mean it is good? Imagine that you have something you feel good about, and day after day you experience it again. Do you continually feel as though you were in heaven, or does it eventually become something other than what you thought in the beginning? For a simple example, if you had some favorite food that you just kept on eating day after day, how would you feel? If you continued eating it for a long time, would you never get tired of it? When you think of it, the chances are much greater that somehow your feeling about that food would change at some point.

Actually, all men should learn to feel content even when externally they are not. They should learn to experience satisfaction. That is the moment where hope is really magnified and where concentration actually takes place. When your stomach is full and your desire is satisfied, there is no need for hope or concentration. Then which moment is happier-the time when the desire is satisfied or, the moment when we have an intense desire and all of our senses are concentrated on fulfilling it? Are you happier when you are hungry and looking forward to eating, or when you are always full and satisfied day after day?

Then in which case do you feel more uplifted – when you feel your situation is good or when you feel discontent? How is it different? When you are hungry, you don’t feel that it is necessarily good, but once you are full you feel it is good. You have come to the conclusion that while you were looking for something and working towards it you felt happier. You can say that you are happy when your stomach is full, but also when you are hungry and eager to eat. You can say both are good, but which is better may depend on the individual.

The point is that when you say you are satisfied, you are on a peak, but from that peak you must always come down to the lower valley. When you are suffocated and choking, it feels good to inhale deeply and have plenty of air. But if you continue to inhale more and more air, never letting it out, you will soon die. We can definitely say that inhaling air is good, but we can also definitely say that exhaling is good, too. Is that simple enough reasoning?
