Some demands made by life in community

As I Can See

We appeal to you, my brothers, to be considerate to those who are working
among you and are above you in the Lord as your teachers. Have the greatest
respect and affection for them because of their work.
Be at peace among yourselves. And this is what we ask you to do, brothers:
warn the idlers, give courage to those who are apprehensive, care for the weak and
be patient with everyone. Make sure that people do not try to take revenge;
you must all think of what is best for each other and for the community. Be
happy at all times; pray constantly; and for all things give thanks to God,
because this is what God expects you to do in Christ Jesus.
Never try to suppress the Spirit or treat the gift of prophecy with contempt;
think before you do anything – hold on to what is good…

God Needs a Circuit

As I Can See

I do know one thing: God needs nothing other than love. He does not need power; He does not need money; He does not need knowledge; He’s got them all. He has the power and the resources and the knowledge to create and maintain the universe. Yet I do know that God has been seeking that single, critical element that can perfect everything else — true love. He has not yet obtained that true love. This is not because of any lack in Himself, but because of the imperfection of man. You cannot consummate love by yourself; love needs a circuit. It can only impart its power when you have someone to love and rely upon. And just like love, happiness and peace require a circuit of give and take between two. It is the same with God. God has been looking for a partnership of love. God needs someone…

SMM Quotes – 141

“What does man’s original mind desire? Does it seek struggle, confrontation, opposition, and separation? The original foundation of the universe is filled with the desire for unity, cooperation and harmony. This desire is the original spirit of the original mind and is where all things began. Any constructive movement begins from this point. Thus the spirit of the original mind always seeks unity, harmony and cooperation. The original mind can only move toward these qualities of relationship.” – Sun Myung Moon

How can a man be reborn?

“I tell you most solemnly,
unless a man is born through water and the Spirit,
he cannot enter the kingdom of God:
what is born of the flesh is flesh;
what is born of the Spirit is spirit.
Do not be surprised when I say:
You must be born from above.
The wind blows wherever it pleases;
you hear its sound,
but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going.
That is how it is with all who are born of the Spirit.”

John 3:5-9

Liberty and charity

My brothers, you were called, as you know, to liberty; but be careful, or this
liberty will provide an opening for self-indulgence. Serve one another, rather, in
work’s of love, since the whole Law is summarised in a single command:
Love your neighbour as yourself. If you go snapping at each other and tearing
each other to pieces, you had better watch or you will destroy the whole
community.
Let me put it like this: if you are guided by the Spirit you will be in no danger
of yielding to self-indulgence, since self-indulgence is the opposite of the Spirit,
the Spirit is totally against such a thing, and it is precisely because the two are
so opposed that you do not always carry out your good intentions. If you are
led by the Spirit, no law can touch you. When self-indulgence is at work the
results are obvious: fornication, gross indecency and sexual irresponsibility;
idolatry and sorcery; feuds and wrangling, jealousy, bad temper and quarrels;
disagreements, factions, envy; drunkenness, orgies and similar things. I warn
you now, as I warned you before: those who behave like this will not inherit the
kingdom of God. What the Spirit brings is very different: love, joy, peace,
patience, kindness, goodness, trustfulness, gentleness and self-control. There
can be no Law against things like that, of yourse. You cannot belong to Christ
Jesus unless you crucify all self-indulgent passions and desires.
Since the Spirit is our life, let us be directed by the Spirit. We must stop
being conceited, provocative and envious.

Galatians 5:13-26

The Unity of the Spirit World

Most people in society do not know with certainty about the original world where we go after life in this world. They do not know whether there is life after death, or even whether God exists. Eventually, everyone goes to the spirit world. It turns out that the spirit world is a single realm. It is not divided into many countries, as is the physical world. Then, what is it like in the spirit world? We can compare it with the water that serves as the environment for fish. Water is an absolute condition for the fish to live. That doesn’t mean, however, that a fish will spend its entire life in one place. A fish that lives in fresh water cannot spawn if it remains in its river. It has to leave the fresh water and come into contact with salt water in order to lay its eggs. It thus passes through two worlds. In the same way, our mind, part of spirit world, and body, part of the physical world, must be interconnected.

At the beginning of human history, a realm of global unity should have formed in honor of Adam’s birthday, the anniversary of his holy marriage and the anniversary of his death. Then humanity could have united as one people by our sharing in the commemoration of those days. Instead of dividing, humanity could have lived in a single realm. If this had happened, then Adam and Eve’s way of life would have passed down through human history. The culture formed would have endured as long as human beings continued to exist.

God Needs a Circuit

God needs someone to relate to in love; He wants to be glorified by an object so He can feel joy. That object is man.

What I am relating to you tonight is not merely a theory; it comes directly from my experience. I have had many incredible spiritual encounters. I myself entered into the spirit world. Do you know what you breathe in the spirit world? It is not air. You breathe the atmosphere of love. You breathe love for the rest of your life, for eternity. However, the atmosphere of love we are talking about is an atmosphere of true, pure love.

In the earthly world today there exist many kinds of love. Perverted love, filthy love, dirty love, selfish love – all kinds of love that do not at all resemble the love of God. Yet in the highest spirit world there is only pure love, true love. This is what we call the perfection of love.

Are you sure you will go to the highest heaven of all? I know every one of you feels confident, but this is a very serious question facing humanity.

God created men and women for a reason. In order for a man to perfect his love he needs a woman, and for a woman to perfect her love she needs a man. We need each other. We should remember, though, that we have not yet accomplished the goal of becoming the temples of God. Because of the fall, mankind is now in what we call the fallen state, which is deviated from the original ideal. We need to return to our original state. Once we return we will become the most holy creatures under the sun, beautiful men and women – the perfected temples of God.

The Nature of the Conscience

In the course of history, there have been many religions and religious leaders. Yet those who believed in those religions and in those leaders could not totally control their bodies and deny themselves. They could not liberate the conscience and position it to relate with God on the original basis. We sinful people did not become true olive trees. Instead, we became wild olive trees, with our roots in false love. Man should have had his roots in God’s true love, yet we established roots in Satan’s love. How are we going to solve the problem of being wild olive trees, instead of true ones? This remains an inescapable, extremely crucial task, which we must fulfill.

If you study yourself, you will notice that your conscience knows everything about you. Your conscience is closer to you than are your own parents. It desires to possess eternal love and to be embraced eternally in God’s bosom. When we marry, we separate from our earthly parents, but not from our conscience. The conscience exists with us prior to our birth on earth. It loves us, and its mission is to transform us into eternal sons and daughters of God. In this sense, the conscience does not need a teacher.

Have you ever heard of a Secretary of Education announcing a plan to educate the conscience? If the conscience had gone the original way, we would have known clearly the course we should follow in life. It would have taught us and guided us to return to God’s bosom. On the basis of our conscience, which knows everything about our life, there is a computer in the spirit world that registers everything we do on earth. When you go to the spirit world, you will discover this.

Until today, we did not know that the mission of the conscience is to convert us into unblemished, true sons and daughters of God. Is there anyone here who is convinced that he or she will never die? We all will go to the spirit world someday. When you enter the spirit world, they will immediately know you by your name. They will know about your entire life. They will also know about your ancestors, because the spirit world transcends time and space. We should not bring anything into that world that would stain our conscience. For that reason, know that the conscience is above all other teachers.

There are many distinguished personalities gathered here today Some of you are professors. I can honestly say that there has never been a professor who possessed a teaching superior to that of the conscience. The role of the conscience for a man is the same as that of a compass for a ship.
