Where is Your face

Where is Your face
I’m searching it in the mirror
I was wondering
Whether I could see Yours in my own

Can I find the light of eternity
In the glance
Can I trust the words of modernity
On the lips

For a while I thought
I could be perfect all by myself
I know now I was wrong
For I ought to be a part of a system

But with whom I could be one
Like living organs
Building and sustaining
An even greater one

All the tricks of the hearts
Played their game on me
Tried and tired my soul
I’ve almost became empty

Maybe more than a shallow life
Once I believed I could have
And I made myself to live in
In an ever-changing bubble

Where is Your face
Am I blind, deaf and ignorant
My obnoxiousness
Separates our hearts

I was wondering
Whether I’m worthy
I’m not beyond
Redemption

The Meaning of the Tribulation that God Foretold

God foretold that there would be seven years of great tribulation confronting Humanity at the time of the last days. The period of great tribulation is the time when all saints must face the agonizing difficulties Heaven endured throughout the course of restoration history. As all human relationships will be broken down, you will face circumstances where you cannot trust anything. No matter how much you try to live your life conscientiously and righteously, you cannot insist on your way of life. The more consciously you embrace God’s Will and contemplate about the world, the more pain and suffering you will feel as you observe the world. Such a time will be the seven-years of great tribulation in the last days.

It will be a time when all hopes will be shaken, the core of your faith will waver, and the leaders whom you have followed will vacillate. Not only ideologies, but also religions, consciences, and hearts of parents will be shaken. Then, why would God make such a world at the time of the last days? It is because God wants to give the special value that you can truly participate with Him in His suffering history. God has witnessed a vast number of human miseries throughout the past 6,000 years and faced countless difficulties. Therefore, in the last days, He puts you through the environment where you cannot find the center with any ideology or faith. God wants to find true sons and daughters who will be able to say “I love God,” or declare, “I will live with God” even in the midst of such tribulations and difficulties.

Knowing this, you should not be discouraged and mournful when you witness the church trembling to its core, nor should you be sorrowful seeing that the leading ideology is no longer believable. You should not be shocked, seeing that a governing leader is fallen. You should not be sad that your parents have changed, nor that your brothers and sisters end up completely different.

Even if everything that you believed and trusted in is in turmoil, your heart should remain calm. You must know that God is never in turmoil and that He will visit you at this hour. Also, know that God only makes you suffer so that one day He will build a precious relationship with you as you share the pain and suffering He has experienced throughout history. Thus, tribulation is His promise to do so. God needs such a time so that He can find a person, even in a most difficult situation, embracing Heaven and crying out, “I will go wherever You go. I will fight on with You. I will take action with You!”

Therefore, you should not despair, saying that your path is blocked. Do not be disheartened that your nation is in turmoil. God is not dead. No matter how terrible the world becomes, you should not be dejected. Remember, God is not dead. God will definitely visit you. Although everything on earth is crumbling, you must not waver in your single-minded devotion to Heaven. You must not change your inner hope that comes from relying on God. To see your unchanging heart, God pushes you into many kinds of difficulties and sufferings.

You must have conviction in your heart that you will call out to your Heavenly Father even when facing unbearable situations. Even if you feel you have fallen to the bottom of the deepest valley, you must make every effort to climb up, using only a string that connects you with Heaven in your heart. Even though you feel bitterness and pain, as if you were falling into Hell, you must poise yourself to attending your Heavenly Father, concerned with your Heavenly Father’s pains and sufferings before your own. Believing that Heavenly Father realizes your personal pain and anguish, if you push forward – no matter how miserable your situation – with a sense of responsibility and duty, you will never perish.

Today, there are millions of Christians in the world, but how many of them has such a faith? We are attending our Heavenly Father, not at His Throne, but attending Him as he struggles in deadly waves of storms, trying desperately to find His sons or daughters. You must realize the reality of such a Heavenly Father as your Heavenly Father, such a situation is His situation, and such a desperate heart as His heart.

Then you must stand boldly before Him with conviction to proclaim, “I now come to understand that Your Desire is to find your sons and daughters, that Your Situation is to find your lost children, resolving Your historical pains and sufferings and that Your Heart is to love your lost children by embracing them. So, no matter how bitter the suffering or unbearable the difficulties I face, I declare that I am a Manifestation of Your Desire, Your Situation, and Your Heart.” You must understand that once you make that commitment, you are Your Heavenly Father’s child and responsible to attend Him.

God sent Jesus Christ out of love

God sent Jesus Christ out of love, hoping that the people of the world would listen to the new gospel of Jesus Christ, who was turning things upside down and altering their life course. He was hoping they could cling to Jesus Christ. However, humankind then and the numerous people since then have not been able to rightfully welcome and attend him, as their master who can make them look back toward Heaven. Because of that, history has been flowing forth without fulfillment of the purpose of life in which they can proceed looking back toward Heaven. Similarly, you of today also are faced with the destiny to go forth looking back toward Heaven at all times. Because humankind cannot go back toward Heaven by its own ability, God provided the way by sending Jesus Christ, through whom humankind can go back. If humankind had looked in the direction that Jesus looked and walked as Jesus walked, humankind could have accomplished the hope of returning to the bosom of God. You must know for certain that this was the central meaning of why God sent Jesus Christ.

Jesus, the king of faith, who stood high as the pride of God

There was a huge gap between what Jesus saw with his eyes as he emerged as the pride of God and of what the Israelites were proud. In other words, the Israelites, who had been upholding the will of God’s dispensation of restoration, were proud of different things than Jesus was in respect to their being the chosen people. Jesus was proud for the sake of the will of God as he championed the will of God’s dispensation of restoration. For this reason, the Israelites faced a situation where they were supposed to forsake what they took pride in as a people before the words and actions of Jesus, who took pride in God’s will.

Had they given up what they took pride in and bowed before Jesus Christ, who appeared with a new source of pride for the sake of God’s will, the difficult path of the cross would not have stood before Jesus Christ. The concept of the way of the cross would not have existed in the history of Christianity. Although salvation would have been based on one’s attendance to the words of Jesus, there would not have been such a thing as salvation due to one’s faith in the cross.

Today in reverence for the death of Jesus, we believe that the power of redemption lies in the cross, but this is not the whole picture. Christians today miss the point. The power of redemption lies in the words Jesus spoke while he was alive. What we have to understand is that while spiritual redemption is, of course, possible through one’s faith in the cross, if people had believed in and lived according to the words Jesus spoke while he was alive, physical and spiritual salvation would have taken place. What must Jesus first take pride in after coming to this earth? Adam and Eve could not substantiate the words of God because of the fall. They failed to believe in His words. Since man fell and the dispensational history was prolonged for 4,000 years because they did not believe in God’s words, Jesus as the one center established faith in front of Satan. In other words, Jesus emerged as the king of faith on this earth.

What manner of man was Jesus? What was the standard upon which Jesus could stand tall as the pride of God? Jesus came as the king of faith before humanity who, in the course of the 4,000 years of history was left without even one person who could be trusted to uphold the will of God. For this reason, God was able to boast about the faith of Jesus Christ.

Many people claim to believe in God, but with that general kind of faith, it is impossible to make the internal connection between the high and the low that is built upon the heart of God. What is more, although countless saints and sages have come and gone, based on what they believed and followed, one cannot understand the principles of love that lie deep within God. Furthermore, Jesus tried to take responsibility for the whole process of faith in history which countless saints had walked through, and to single-handedly put an end to the satanic history Jesus, who was the culmination of the 4,000 years of history, came as the center of the universe and the champion of faith.

For the sake of this one standard, God raised Jesus up as the king of faith. Jesus represented the will of God and in God’s place taught His words. The words he proclaimed were not the truth of the Old Testament as it stood. His faith was not built on the faith of the Old Testament era. His belief was not limited to the words and prophecies of the past saints and sages. In other words, he did not have the concept of the Messiah that the Israelites believed in, based on the words of the Old Testament.

To explain the nature of the faith Jesus had, he was the representative of the faith that cannot be found in the Old Testament Bible and which did not exist in history leading up to his time. He had a new type of faith, which had not come into existence until that time in any environment in the world. Consequently, the Old Testament history had to recede before Jesus.

What must we understand, we who believe in Jesus Christ, the king of faith in whom God takes pride? We have to understand that if we look at Jesus with some limitation, then we cannot come to grasp the 4,000 years of history before his coming and his thirty years of life; nor can we grasp the eternal value of his life, which will influence the future eternally. Moreover, we have to come to grips with the fact that even if hundreds of millions of people are ignorant of the will of God and stand against it, we should have the standard of faith to say “I will uphold that holy will alone. I will believe what no one else can believe in.” Only when this is done can Jesus stand as the Savior and the king of faith before humanity. Did Jesus, whom we believe in today give all the words of truth while he was alive? If he did not, we need the words that the returning Lord will give us. Although Jesus was the king of faith whom God had sought and who could stand at last, 4,000 years after the fall of Adam and Eve, as the source of God’s pride before Satan and the world of creation, because of the faithlessness of the Israelites, God had to hand him over to the enemy. Therefore, Jesus Christ is to return with the standard to boast before all the creation and to give new words. As the champion and king of faith, Jesus revealed new words that were not in the Old Testament. Those words have been handed down to us as the words of the New Testament.

Since this era is a new one and a glorious era will come in the near future, we need to have the kind of faith that can be perpetuated in that glorious era. The hope and faith of Jesus Christ were not on the level of the faith man had believed in for 4,000 years. His faith was something that, through his life, reached many generations after him. It reached even to eternity and is the faith that can bring to light the love and goodness that could not emerge then.

Jesus Christ was the king of faith whom history had never seen before and in whom God could take pride. You must also have the same kind of faith as Jesus.

Realization of the ideal hinges upon the perfection of one man

As soon as the fall of man took place, God’s will focused on the goal of restoration. God Himself is destined to save mankind, to show people how to get out of the fallen state and into the original ideal of creation. That is the providence of God’s salvation, or restoration. Throughout history men have not been in a position to save themselves; salvation comes instead from a higher place. This is why a savior must come to save mankind. As yet no individual has successfully showed God’s original ideal of creation to the world.

Without having individual perfection or salvation there can be no family salvation, no social, national or world salvation. God has been thinking about how to establish one central champion who will give mankind His clear message and show the way to salvation. In the mind and heart of God that one man is the key because that one man’s victory will bring not only his own individual perfection, ‘out will open the way for family perfection, social, national and world perfection.

God knows this world is evil, and He cannot abruptly send His champion without having prepared some foundation. God’s first task is to prepare the foundation on the individual level by working through central individuals, and then to prepare the family, social and national levels. This is how God came to prepare the nation of Israel. The chosen nation of Israel had the mission of receiving the Messiah and had been expecting his coming for 2,000 years before Jesus came.

Jesus Christ came for the will of God, to transmit God’s will to the chosen nation of Israel. God was moving in a certain direction and Jesus Christ was moving parallel to that direction, so certainly the people of Israel were supposed to move in a way parallel to Jesus. If all three had been moving parallel in one direction, God’s ultimate will could have been fulfilled in that nation. God and Jesus were united and all that was needed was to have the people of Israel unite with Jesus. After man’s having fulfilled on the national level, expansion of that fulfillment to the worldwide level would have been assured.

As you know from the Principle of Creation, the perfection of Adam would not only have been the perfection of an individual but would have brought the perfection of the family. That would have expanded into the perfection of the clan, society, nation and the world. Therefore, one man of perfection could have brought world perfection. Then there would be only one ism necessary for all mankind – Adamism. Under Adamism the individual would prosper, the family would prosper, and the society, nation and world would prosper.

The true forefather of mankind is that individual whose perfection represents not only his own success, but the perfection of the family, nation, world and cosmos. Today’s world would be entirely different if Adam had accomplished that. We would not see all the disgusting sights that we witness every day. Neither would we see the language barriers and the national barriers separating people. Furthermore, every individual would understand the perfection of man and would also live in complete unity between spirit world and this world. Every individual could clearly map out his own way of life to reach the ultimate Kingdom of Heaven. The problem today is that man does not possess the living God and no one has given him true direction. Mankind lives random, wandering lives. In the original ideal this would never be; everyone would be guided into perfection in a way perfectly parallel with the will of God and no one could live outside that will.

The realization of the Kingdom of God hinges upon the perfection of one man. That one man will bring the perfection of the Kingdom of God here on earth, and thereafter will erect the Kingdom of God in Heaven. The citizens of the Kingdom of God will start their lives here on earth and after they consummate their lives here will automatically be elevated into the Kingdom of God in Heaven, where they will continue as families.

Quote

In order to save the world through a movement of true love, you yourselves must first of all become substantial beings of love.” – Reverend Sun Myung Moon

Where are You, God

Where are You, God

Where have You been

I’m not blaming

Merely hurting

Inside, I thought I felt your pain

It seems to be selfish now

Where are You, God

Where have You been

I became blind

In the edge of life

Ignorant faith

And I sealed us away

Where are You, God

Where have You been

I excluded You again and again

Yet, when I asked You came

Saved lives of beloved ones

And I pledged, wouldn’t be in vain

Where are You, God

Where have You been

I took time, too long

Find a place in me

You had to pure me

In pain

Where are You, God

Where have You been

I learnt You’ve never left

And never will

It is on my responsibility

You can help me to live again

Where are You, God

Where have You been

I know by now

In me

Working for more space

The world can be saved

Salvation in Christ a free gift

As I Can See

And you were dead, through the crimes and the sins in which you used to live
when you were following the way of this world, obeying the ruler who governs
the air,a the spirit who is at work in the rebellious. We all were among them
too in the past, living sensual lives, ruled entirely by our own physical desires
and our own ideas; so that by nature we were as much under God’s anger as the
rest of the world. But God loved us with so much love that he was generous
with his mercy: when we were dead through our sins, he brought us to life
with Christ it is through grace that you have been saved and raised us up
with him and gave us a place with him in heaven, in Christ Jesus.
This was to show for all ages to come, through his goodness toward…

Fight for the faith

As I Can See

Avoid anything in your everyday lives that would be unworthy of the gospel
of Christ, so that, whether I come to you and see for myself, or stay at a distance
and only hear about you, I shall know that you are unanimous in meeting the
attack with firm resistance, united by your love for the faith of the gospel and
quite unshaken by your enemies. This would be the sure sign that they will lose
and you will be saved. It would be a sign from God that he has given you the
privilege not only of believing in Christ, but of suffering for him as well. You and
I are together in the same fight as you saw me fighting before and, as you will
have heard, I am fighting still.

What Jesus Felt on the Earth and His Resolution

Numerous other prophets and sages walked the path that Moses walked. Four thousand years after the fall of Adam and Eve, the second ancestor of humanity, Jesus Christ, came. He took upon himself the responsibility for all the faults of the fallen Adam, bearing in his body the sorrow of Heaven, the sadness of all humankind, and the grief of all things in the universe. He took charge of all conditions of deathly darkness that drew lamentation and sorrow from Heaven for the sake of breaking them down. Let us think about Jesus.

What kind of person was he? Going back over the four-thousand-year history, Jesus pined for people who had not felt the fear that results from culpable acts and who had not perceived sorrow by reason of their sins. Namely, he yearned for the original Adam and Eve whom God had created, having been deeply touched by the sense and Shim Jung of goodness. Jesus had to restore and replace the original selves of Adam and Eve, who should have been the good, truthful ancestors of humanity. His belief that he had come on behalf of God’s ideology of creation was greater than any circumstances society could present to him and greater than any other tendency in his mind.

Therefore, if Jesus felt loneliness, that loneliness was connected with Heaven. When Jesus came to fathom God’s loneliness, he could no longer feel lonely. Every time hope or ideology sank deeply into his mind, he felt the responsibility to introduce that hope and ideology to humankind.

Jesus came to realize that he bore the responsibility of being the central figure who had to realize the hope for which God had wished. He had to indemnify all the guilt the ancestors had perpetrated by falling. As this kind of understanding grew deep in him, he came to realize that the relationship between God and himself in the sorrowful four-thousand-year history of restoration was one of father and son, inseparable. This realization prevented him from feeling bitter toward the fallen Adam, the fallen descendants and the Archangel. It became stronger when such resentment was aroused. Jesus began to realize that Heaven was his father, that the earth was his mother, and that he himself was born as the son representing Heaven and earth. Jesus could not help feeling that God’s internal character, the earth’s internal character, and the internal character of all humankind should form everlasting ties with him. He felt the stimulus of those connections even in such a tragic situation.

What was it that touched his mind so deeply? His relationships were not joyous, they were sorrowful. Originally, humanity was to form a parent-child relationship with Heaven by building the garden of the eternal ideology. The whole of man’s conditions should have provided an impetus to the Father’s conditions of happiness and sung of the heart of that happiness. However, humanity formed ties of sorrow, unable to form ties of happiness. You must know the heart of Jesus, who had to weep bitterly as he became increasingly aware of such facts. Jesus knew that the ties his ancestors had formed for four thousand years were not ties of happiness, but of sorrow. Therefore, whenever Jesus was in a sorrowful position and having difficulties, he determined to be the central figure of the sorrowful world. That was how Jesus was, and we must know that.

Looking at the people and at Judaism, which could not prepare the altar of happiness with the heavenly principles and rise, Jesus felt great sorrow. The more he knew about the religious denomination, about the people, about his tribe and himself, the more sorrowful he became. His knowledge became a condition for sadness. Nevertheless, because Jesus assumed responsibility for history, which was connected to the sadness, we must know that he passed away with indescribable sorrow and lamentation in his heart. His mind longed for the infinitely glorious and good world of relationships. However, the reality in which he lived was such that he could not help being sorry about his lot in life, which was infinitely sorrowful. There was no one who knew the situation of Jesus, no one who stood at the intersection of two such different worlds.
